My personal style has always been relatively understated, which often surprises people when they learn I work in South Asian bridal styling. Growing up around my aunts, who had a deep appreciation for Indian textiles, jewelry, and occasion dressing, shaped my understanding of how powerful styling can be.
I became fascinated not just by the garments themselves, but by how they were worn — how draping, proportion, and jewelry scale could completely change the presence of a look. Over time, I developed a natural instinct for noticing imbalance and understanding how small refinements can create a stronger visual impact.
Through The Sona Edit, I work closely with brides to bring clarity to the many wardrobe decisions involved in planning a multi-event wedding. My goal is to help each client feel polished, confident, and fully aligned with how she wants to show up throughout her celebration.
